Some cases have been reported where the Myki extension does not connect to Myki servers properly because of a proxy or firewall installed on the computer.
This is a very common false positive as most of these systems follow hardcoded rules when it comes to deciding what communication to block.
If you are on a personal computer, you have to whitelist the Myki extension for it to be able to work properly. Googling the name of the proxy or firewall followed by "whitelist app" will very often return meaningful results.
If you are on an enterprise computer, the best way to approach this is to contact your system administrator asking them to whitelist the Myki app.
Below is a template message that you can send to your IT Admin:
My password manager, Myki (devices.myki.io) is being blocked by the proxy or firewall setup on my computer. I would like you to whitelist it in order for me to be able to securely manage my passwords.
