Your company’s passwords are stored in the MSP Vault, you can access your passwords by logging into your Enterprise Portal > Click on  'MSP Vault' and selecting ‘Passwords’.

There are three columns in that list:

  • Account Nickname
  • Website
  • Account Username

Search for a Password

To search for a specific password,  you can use the search bar on the top of the list. 

To add/import passwords, you can either add them manually, or import them using the different available methods. For a detailed guide on how to add/import passwords. Check out this article.

Delete Password(s)

To delete a password, right-click on the password’s row and select ‘Delete Item’.

To bulk delete a set of passwords, select ‘More Actions’ at the top right of the MSP Password Vault page, and select ‘Enable Bulk Actions’.

Select the passwords you wish to delete by checking the box on the left-side of the password

Go to ‘More Actions’ one more time and select ‘Delete’


To restore deleted passwords, simply press on ‘More Actions’ at the top right of the Passwords Vault and select ‘Show Archived’. 

Select the passwords you wish to restore by checking the box on the left-side of the password. 

Go to ‘More Actions’ one more time, and select ‘Restore’ 

Preview Password(s)

For a quick preview of a password, simply hover over to the password’s row, a 'Preview' button will appear, click on it.

A window will pop-up to the right containing general information about the password. You can also delete the item from here. 


For additional information on a specific password, you can click on the password’s nickname to access the ‘Item Info’ page:

On the left side, you will find the selected password’s card which include the following information: nickname, website, username/email address, password and 2FA.

On the right side of the Item Info page, you will have access to the following tabs: 

1. Item Info Tab

The item info tab includes general information about the item:

  • Item users: list of employees having access to this item
  • Item groups: list of groups having access to this item
  • Folders: list of item folders that include this item
  • Item policies: list of all policies enforced on this item

You can also delete the item from the contact card.

2. Users Access Tab

In the 'Users Access' tab, you will find all of the users in your account. To assign this item to a user, simply check the box at the left of the user’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign this item from a user, simply uncheck the box. 

To search for a specific user, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Users Access’ tab.

3. Groups Access Tab

In the Groups Access tab, you will find all of the MSP Groups available in your account. To assign the item to a specific group, simply check the box at the left of the group’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign that item from a group, simply uncheck the box.

To search for a specific MSP group, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Groups Access’ page. You can also create a group directly from that page by clicking on ‘Create group' at the top right of the page and filling the required information. 4. Item Folders Access Tab

In the Item Folders Access tab, you will find all of the item folders available in your account. To include the password in an item folder, simply check the box at the left of the item folder’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to remove the password from an item folder, simply uncheck the box.

To search for a specific item folder, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Item Folders Access’ page.

You can also create an item folder directly from that page by clicking on ‘Create folder’ at the top right of the page and filling the required information.

5. Security Policies Access Tab

In the Security Policies Access tab, you will find all of the security policies set-up in your MSP Policies tab. To enforce a security policy on the item, simply check the box at the left of the security policy’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign a security policy from the item, simply uncheck the box.

To search for a specific policy, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Security Policies Access’ tab.

6. Password History Tab

In the Password History tab, you will find the different passwords that were set for this account overtime. 

You can view and restore older passwords by pressing on the top right side of that old’s passwords box. 


To go back to your MSP Password Vault, simply click on 'Passwords' at the top right of the item card or on 'Passwords' under 'MSP Vault'
