You can access your MSP Item Folders by logging in to your Enterprise Portal, and going to the MSP Item Folders.

There are three columns in that list: 

  • The name of the item folder
  • The description of the item folder
  • And the number of items in that folder 

Search for an Item Folder

To search for a specific item folder, you can use the search bar on the top right of the list. 

Add/Import Item Folder(s)

To add/import item folders, you can either add them manually, or import them using the different available methods. For a detailed guide on how to add/import item folders. Check out this article.

Delete Item Folder(s)

To delete an item folder, right-click on this item folder’s row and select ‘Delete Item Folder’. 

Preview Item Folder(s)

To preview an item folder, simply press on the ‘Preview’ button when you hover over the required item folder. A window will pop-up to the right with general information about the item folder. You can also delete the item from that window. 

Item Folder Info

For additional information on a specific item folder, you can click on the item folder’s name to access the ‘Item Folder Info’ section.

On the left side, you will find the selected item folder’s card that includes the item’s folder general information: name and description. You can also delete the item folder from there.

On the right side of the Item Folder Info page, you have access to different tabs: 

1. Item Folder Info Tab

The Item Folder Info tab includes general information about the item folder:

  • Item folder items: list of items in the item folder 
  • Item folder users: list of employees that have access to this item folder
  • Item folder groups: list of all groups this item folder is assigned to
  • Item folder policies: list of policies applied to this item folder

2. Items Access Tab

In the Items Access tab, you will all of the items in your MSP vault. To add items to the item folder, simply check the box at the left of the item’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to remove an item from this item folder, simply uncheck the box. 

To search for a specific item, use the search bar at the top right of the Items Access’ page.

You can also create an item directly from that page by clicking on ‘Create item’ at the top right of the page and filling the required information.

3. Users Access Tab

In the Users Access tab, you will find all of the users in your account. To assign the item folder to a user, simply check the box at the left of the user’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign the item folder from a user, simply uncheck the box. 

To search for a specific user, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Users Access’ tab.

You can choose to show/hide the passwords of that item folder with the users.

4. Groups Access Tab

In the Groups Access tab, you will find all of the MSP Groups available in your account. To assign an item folder to a specific group, simply check the box at the left of the group’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign that item folder from a group, simply uncheck the box.

To search for a specific MSP group, use the search bar at the top right of the ‘Groups Access’ tab.

You can also create a group directly from that page by clicking on ‘Create a group’ at the top right of the page and filling the required information.

5. Security Policies Access Tab

In the Security Policies Access tab, you will find all of the security policies set-up in your MSP Policies section. To enforce a security policy on an item folder, simply check the box at the left of the security policy’s name and click ‘Save’. Similarly, to un-assign a security policy from an item folder, simply uncheck the box.

To search for a specific security policy, use the search bar at the top right of the 'Security Policies Access’ tab.

You can also create a security policy directly from that page by clicking on ‘Create a policy’ at the top right of the page, selecting which type of policy you’d like to create, and filling the required information.  


To go back to the MSP Item Folders section, simply click on ‘Item Folders’ at the top left of the Item Folder Card or on MSP Item Folders directly in the left navigation bar.
