A security policy is an adaptive behavioral constraint that you can apply to users, items, groups, and item folders that enforces additional security mechanisms on your organization. Security policies include location based, time based and IP address based policies.

Because of Myki’s decentralized architecture, you can use the sensors’ in your users’ smartphones  to create extremely resilient security policies; geo-location restrictions being an example.

Types of Policies Available

  • The location based policy allows you to restrict users or groups of users from accessing items or item folders from a specific geographic location. For more information on how to set a location based security policy, check out this [add link] article.
  • The time based policy allows you to restrict users or groups of users from accessing items or item folders at specific days or times. For more information on how to set a time based security policy, check out this [add link] article.
  • The IP address based policy allows you to restrict users or groups of users from accessing items or item folders based on their IP addresses. For more information on how to set an IP address based security policy, check out this [add link] article.
