To successfully migrate your Myki account to a new phone, you need to meet one of those requirements:

  • You either need access to a device with a Myki account.
  • Or if you don't have a device, you need access to a phone number you initially signed Myki with (ability to receive an SMS code on it) and a Myki Backup File. Click here, to locate a Myki Backup File.

If you fail to have one of the two requirements, please contact us at  support@myki.com so we can help you out.

Installing Myki on your new device

Start the process by installing Myki on the new device and typing in the phone number associated to your current Myki account.

Given your current Myki setup you will be able to choose from one of three options: 

1.Create a New Myki account: This will create a brand new account. You can skip this one.

2.Add this Device to your Myki account: Choose this option if you have Myki installed on another device. Click here if you need help with this process. 

3.Restore from a backup: Choose this option to restore from a backup file saved on your computer. Click here if you need help with this process.
