You can export a copy of your personal MYKI data in the form of an unencrypted .csv file using your MYKI Desktop App. Please note that if you are a MYKI MSP or Teams admin, the process detailed below will also export your company data and your managed companies’ data, in addition to your personal data in separate folders and .csv files.


Please note that the exported data file(s) will be viewable in plain text by anyone who has access to your computer. Please be sure to take proper measures to secure the file(s) and dispose of them whenever you no longer need them.


The steps below will guide you through the detailed process to accomplish the export once you open the MYKI desktop app.

Make sure that your desktop app is at version 1.4.9+. In case it is on a older version, start by updating the app.

1- Head to the Settings tab right under the Enterprise Portal tab

2- Click on the “General” tab

3- Select “Export data” as seen in the image below and choose the location where you would like the file to be downloaded and saved.

Please note that if you are a MYKI MSP or Teams Admin, the exported data will be separated into several folders and files, one for your personal data, one for your company data, and others for each managed company. Each managed company will have its own folder which will contain separate .csv files for each item category, i.e. .csv for passwords, .csv for secure notes, etc.
